The Africa Centre for Collaborative Dispute Resolution (AfCCoDR) has been at the forefront of developing and empowering change agents in conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and professional practice across Ghana and beyond. Through capacity building, training, mentorship, and institutional development, AfCCoDR continues to nurture competent mediators, paralegals, arbitrators, negotiators, and peace practitioners who are transforming their communities and institutions.

As part of our commitment to professional excellence and structured practice, AfCCoDR has played a key role in the establishment and strengthening of professional bodies such as the National Association of Licensed Paralegals and Legal Executives (NALPLE) and the Association of Conflict, Peace and Security Experts in Africa (ACPSEA). These bodies provide professional recognition, standards, and continuous development opportunities for practitioners in the fields of paralegal studies, conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and security.

Beyond professional institutional development, AfCCoDR is deeply engaged in community-based mediation initiatives, helping to resolve disputes at the grassroots level before they escalate. We also champion peer mediation programs in schools, equipping young people with essential skills in communication, dialogue, problem-solving, and peaceful conflict management. Through these initiatives, we are cultivating a culture of peace among the next generation.
