Description

Since its inception, the Africa Centre for Collaborative Dispute Resolution (AfCCoDR) has operated as a professional training, capacity-building, and institutional development organisation in the fields of justice delivery, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), peacebuilding, conflict management and offering dispute resolution services.

AfCCoDR has worked in collaboration with relevant institutions, experts, and practitioners to facilitate the establishment and operationalisation of recognised professional bodies in Ghana, aimed at providing structured professional identity, ethical oversight, and continuous professional development for trained practitioners.

In this regard, AfCCoDR has contributed to the creation and development of the following professional bodies:

Both professional bodies are duly registered professional bodies under the Professional Bodies Registration Act, 1973 (NRCD 143) of the Republic of Ghana. These professional bodies serve as formal platforms for professional recognition, regulation, and continuous development of individuals who have completed AfCCoDR-approved professional training programmes.
